The MA in Greek and Eastern Mediterranean Archaeology is a postgraduate program offered by the Department of History and Archaeology.

The program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the archaeology of the Greek and Eastern Mediterranean world, from the Bronze Age to the Classical period.

- Collapse and Transformation: Crisis, Resilience, and Reorganization from the Late Third to Early First Millennium BCE in the Eastern Mediterranean (3030)
- Understanding the Archaeological Record: Prehistoric Cyprus and the East Mediterranean (2080)
- The Visual Cultures of Classical Greece (1030)
- Ancient Greek Sculpture (1080)
- Attic Pottery of the Archaic and Classical Periods (1090)
- The Architecture of the Mystery Cults (2090)
- The Archaeology of Death in the Ancient Greek World (3010)
Admission
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, preferably upper-second (B+), followed by a full transcript of records. All documents must be officially translated into English and validated by an appropriate authority.
- A curriculum vitae
- Two academic references providing confidential assessments of the applicant's academic achievement and promise for graduate study and research.
- Personal statement (max. 1000 words) by the applicant outlining academic achievements and ambitions.
- If English is not the applicant's first language, proficiency must be demonstrated by means of an internationally recognized test, either ITOEFL or IELTS:
- ITOEFL: Overall score of 88 or above, with at least 17 in Listening, 17 in Writing, 18 in Reading, and 20 in Speaking.
- IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 or above, with at least 5.5 in each component.
