Introduction
HR professionals are expected to understand and practice human resource management aligned with organisational goals. This unit integrates theory and research to develop students' understanding of evidence-based human resource management and professional skills. Human resources management is widely recognised as a critical component in gaining a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Today's HR professionals are expected to understand and practise human resource management that is strategically aligned with organisational goals and creates value for the organisation. This unit integrates HRM theory and practical knowledge to develop students understanding of evidence-based human resource management, and their professional skills, in human resource practice.
