WFU/Internship in Prague (Summer)
Overview
The Wake Forest University Internship Program in Prague, in conjunction with CEA CAPA, offers qualified WFU students an internship relevant to their field of study. Internships are available in numerous fields, including but not limited to: Advertising, Architecture, Business, Data Administration, Design, Hospitality, Human Resources, Information Technology (IT), International Relations, Law & Legal Services, Marketing, Sales, Sustainability, and Urban Planning.
Interns will work for 8-weeks and work 20 hours per week (160 hours total) in their designated placement. The program dates are May 27 – July 24, 2026.

Program
In most cases, students will take CGS 229, which counts for 3 hours of elective credit toward graduation. This course will be taken on site with CEA-CAPA. In some cases, students can receive credit from the academic department that corresponds with their internship.
Accommodation
Students live in student apartments with shared rooms and a kitchenette in suite. All students participating in the WFU Summer Internship program are required to live in program-provided housing.
Selection
Good academic standing is required for selection.
Costs
The total cost of summer study abroad can be broken down into four categories:
- Program Fee: usually covers room, in-country travel, international travel insurance, excursions, some meals, and other costs associated with the program.
- Tuition: students on WFU summer programs pay WFU summer school tuition per credit hour.
- Airfare (estimated): varies per location, and students are responsible for their own airfare unless otherwise noted.
- Personal Expenses (estimated): these will vary depending on the students' spending habits, cost of living in the destination country, and the number of meals included in the program fee.
The estimated total cost is $15,840, which includes:
- Program Fee: $7,965
- Tuition (3hrs): $2,850
- Airfare (estimated): $1,700
- Personal Expenses (estimated): $3,325
Scholarships
Scholarships are available through the Center for Global Programs and Studies.
Visa & Passport
Students need to check their passport's expiration date and ensure that it will be valid for at least 6 months after the program's end date. US passport holders who need to renew their passport should visit the U.S. Department of State's passport website for information on this process. Non-US passport holders who need to renew their passport should refer to their home country's passport office.
