Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management)
The Bachelor of Business is an integrated program that provides a grounding in the key business disciplines. Combined with a specialisation in Human Resource Management, the program provides students with the knowledge and confidence to succeed in management-focused roles. The Human Resource Management (HRM) specialisation is designed to provide graduates with a solid grounding in human resources for managing people to achieve positive outcomes in areas such as staff motivation, staff performance appraisal, training and development, and staff retention.

Admission Criteria
Applicants are required to meet one of the following criteria with a competitive result:
- Higher Education Study: Successfully completed equivalent to a minimum of half a year of full-time study of a higher education program at a recognised higher education provider
- Vocational Education and Training (VET): Complete an award from a registered training organisation at Certificate IV or above
- Work and Life Experience (for domestic students only): Passed a UniSA Online literacy and numeracy test and have relevant work experience, or completed a 12-month UniSA Foundation Studies program or equivalent, or qualify for Special Entry
- Recent Secondary Education: Completed a secondary education qualification equivalent to SACE, such as an interstate year 12 or international qualification

Professional Accreditation and Recognition
This program has met the criteria for course accreditation and is currently accredited by the Australian HR Institute (AHRI). Accreditation is reviewed every three years by the AHRI National Accreditation Committee. The program has also been acknowledged by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) as being aligned with its recommended requirements for HR degrees.

Rules and Notes
- Assessment requirements for this degree include at least one online exam. The online exam software has system compatibility requirements, specifically that tablets, hybrid devices, and mobile devices are not supported.
- Students that have been assessed as completing a qualification in a business discipline at AQF Diploma level or equivalent and have received 36 units of block credit are not required to complete this course.
- Students that have been assessed as completing a qualification in a business discipline at AQF Advanced Diploma level or equivalent and have received 54 units of block credit are not required to complete this course.
- This course is recommended for students who are new to university studies or require development in academic and research skills.
