Introduction to the Alliance for Physician Leadership

The Alliance for Physician Leadership offers a program designed for physicians who feel destined to lead. The program, "From Healer to Leader," provides a path forward for those considering leadership as their next step, looking to build skills to grow professionally, or eager to drive solutions that improve workplaces and patient care.

Program Overview

The Path to Physician Leadership is an introductory course that serves as the starting point for physicians' journeys to leadership. This course helps participants learn what experience, skill sets, and knowledge are required to plot a customized plan to reach their end-goal, regardless of their starting point.

Program Structure

• All classes are held virtually.
  • Each class is 2 hours in length, including an interactive Q&A session.
  • Classes are held once a month for 6 months.

Target Audience

This program is designed for physicians at any stage of their career who feel called to lead and want to create their own path toward becoming the best version of themselves. It is suitable for:

• Physicians at a pivotal point considering leadership as their next step.
• Those early in their career looking to build skills to grow professionally.
• Individuals eager to drive solutions that improve workplaces and patient care.
• Physicians striving to break into leadership but struggling to gain traction.
• Those who want to lead but aren't sure where to start.

Qualifications for Enrollment

To enroll, one must be a physician with a current M.D. or D.O. from an accredited program. Residents, Chief Residents, and Fellows are encouraged to enroll if they believe leadership is their calling.

Tuition

• Tuition for the general public: $997 USD.
• Tuition for APL Community members: $797 USD.

Session Content

The class schedule and session topics are under development and will be released in the coming weeks. The program is set to start in January 2026.
