Advanced Programme in Project Management (APPM)

The Advanced Programme in Project Management (APPM) is designed to take participants beyond the basic principles of project management, focusing on the mastery of advanced concepts and the integration of modern technologies and approaches to project lifecycles. This programme balances strategic aspects with practical application, utilizing software techniques to elevate skills and applying advanced risk and critical chain tools to project plans.

Programme Requirements

To enroll in the APPM, participants should have successfully completed the Programme in Project Management (PPM) or the Comprehensive Project Management Programme for Built Environment Practitioners (CPMP).

Programme Content

The programme covers a range of topics, including:

• Innovation for project managers
• Project system development and methodologies
• Advanced critical chain and simulation
• Microsoft Projects
• Project portfolio management
• Strategic management
• Negotiation and conflict management
• Advanced risk management

Programme Structure

The course is presented online with one-day contact sessions per module. MS Projects will be covered in three contact days, and there will be a 6-week period allocated for compulsory online pre-course work before attending class contact sessions.
