University Program: Studies for Innovation of Knowledge Tax Consulting
The University of Belgrade's Faculty of Law offers a program in tax consulting, designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge in the field of tax law and consulting.
Reasons for Organizing the Studies
The complexity and constant changes in tax regulations create a need for professional tax consulting services. Tax consultants provide a wide range of services, including tax return preparation, financial statement analysis, and tax planning. The program aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the complex tax environment and provide high-quality services to clients.
Program Structure
The program consists of 100 hours of interactive lectures, divided into two semesters. The lectures are held on Saturdays, with a planned start date in October 2025 and a completion date in May 2026. The program covers various topics, including:
- Introduction to Tax Law
- Direct Taxes
- Value-Added Tax
- International Tax Treaties
- Tax Planning
- Basics of Business Law
- Basics of Civil Law
- Administrative Procedure and Dispute Resolution in Tax Matters
- Accounting and Financial Reporting
Lecturers
The lectures are delivered by university professors, tax consultants, and other experienced professionals in the field.
Certification
Upon completion of the program, students receive a certificate from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. Students who pass the final exam receive an additional certificate confirming their expertise in tax consulting.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee is 130,000 dinars, payable in two equal installments. Students who provide proof of unemployment may be eligible for a payment plan in three installments.
Admission Requirements
Candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies with 240 ECTS credits can apply for the program. Candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies with 180 ECTS credits may also apply, subject to the approval of the program manager.
Application Procedure
Applications are accepted from September 15, 2025, to November 7, 2025. Candidates must submit their application electronically, along with proof of payment of the tuition fee.
