Introduction to the University Program

The University of Lille offers a unique program, "Concevoir un projet en information, communication, éducation à l'alimentation," which provides an interdisciplinary and critical approach to understanding the complexities of food and nutrition.


Program Description

This program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to conceive, implement, and evaluate projects related to food and nutrition. The curriculum is divided into three modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of food and nutrition, including the social, cultural, and economic contexts of food production and consumption.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as nutrition, education, or communication. Alternatively, they may have a professional degree in a related field, such as dietetics or food science, with at least one year of work experience.


Program Structure

The program consists of three modules, each lasting several weeks. The modules are designed to be flexible, allowing students to complete the program at their own pace. The program includes a combination of online and in-person courses, with the in-person sessions taking place in Lille.


Module 1: Enjeux et Outils de l'Information, Communication, Éducation à l'Alimentation

This module introduces students to the social, cultural, and economic contexts of food production and consumption. Topics covered include:


  • Enjeux sociétaux de l'alimentation: dynamiques des savoirs scientifiques, savoirs experts, savoirs ordinaires
  • Les acteurs économiques et les enjeux marchands de l'alimentation
  • Enjeux publics et politiques de l'alimentation
  • Médias et savoirs sur l'alimentation

Module 2: Produire des Outils Novateurs d'Information, de Communication, d'Éducation à l'Alimentation

This module focuses on the development of innovative tools and strategies for communicating and educating about food and nutrition. Topics covered include:


  • Atelier critique de l'information, communication, éducation à l'alimentation
  • Projet tutoré (projet de conception et réalisation d'un dispositif d'information-communication et éducation à l'alimentation)

Module 3: Synthèse de Fin de Formation

This final module provides students with the opportunity to synthesize their knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program. Students will work on a project that demonstrates their ability to conceive, implement, and evaluate a project related to food and nutrition.


Tuition Fees

The tuition fee for the program is 2,000 euros, with a reduced rate available under certain conditions.


Location and Duration

The program is offered in Lille, and the duration is 5 months, from February to June. The program includes 145 hours of instruction, divided into online and in-person courses.
