Introduction to the Master's Degree in Pharmacy
The Master's Degree in Pharmacy is a five-year single cycle program active in the Department of Pharmacy and Drug Sciences. It belongs to the LM-13 class, "Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy," which is a model adopted by many Italian universities.

The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive set of theoretical and practical knowledge in biological, chemical, pharmaceutical, technological, pathophysiological, pharmacological, and toxicological fields. This knowledge enables graduates to tackle the entire sequence of the complex multidisciplinary process involved in the design, production, regulation, marketing, and proper use and control of drugs, according to codified rules.

The specific training objectives of the Master's Degree in Pharmacy are to impart the set of theoretical and practical knowledge that allows graduates to:

Job and Career Opportunities for Graduates
The graduate in Pharmacy, with the achievement of the degree and the corresponding professional qualification, carries out the profession of pharmacist under Community Directive 2005/36/EC. Graduates are entitled to all professions that, according to the law, require registration in the relevant professional order. The professional profile of a pharmacist is that of a health worker who contributes to the achievement of the objectives set by the National Health Service, responding adequately to the changing needs of society in the health field.
Admission Criteria
Access to the program is by programmed number, with approximately 300 students admitted, including 5 non-EU students. The online submission of applications to participate in the selection for admission takes place between July and August, and the selection with quiz tests occurs in September.
