Program Overview

The Modern AI-Assisted Robotics Research Experience for Teachers (MAR-RET) is a six-week, full-time program designed for pre-service and current high school teachers. Participants in the program will receive a stipend of approximately $6,000.

Program Details

• The program involves participating in actual AI-Assisted robotics research.
• Participants will learn and customize curriculum AI-assisted modules, including:
  • Voice/motion recognition
  • Color/object tracking
  • Lidar-based perception
  • Autonomous navigation
• Each participant will receive a modern robot for classroom use in the academic year 2025-2026.
• The program includes engagement with industry speakers.

Program Location and Duration

The MAR-RET program will take place at the Mines campus in Golden, CO, during the summer of 2025.
