Program Requirements
To graduate from the program, students must meet the following requirements:
- Complete all compulsory and elective courses with a total of 34 credits
- Pass the mid-term assessment
- Complete a master's thesis that meets the requirements of the program
- Pass the thesis defense
Thesis Requirements
The master's thesis should be an original research work that demonstrates the student's ability to apply Marxist theory to real-world problems. The thesis should be written in Chinese and should meet the following requirements:
- The thesis should be between 30,000 to 50,000 words
- The thesis should include an introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion
- The thesis should demonstrate the student's ability to conduct independent research and analyze complex problems using Marxist theory
Assessment and Evaluation
The program uses a variety of assessment and evaluation methods, including:
- Mid-term assessment
- Thesis proposal defense

Graduation and Degree Awarding
Students who meet all the program requirements and pass the thesis defense will be awarded a Master's degree in Marxist Theory. The degree will be awarded by China University of Petroleum (East China).
