Services
Student services
The Office of Spiritual and Religious Life supports members of the Allegheny community in learning, growing in leadership, and developing as whole persons. Through programs, worship experiences, discussions, and fellowship groups, the office seeks to nurture and encourage persons of faith to deepen their engagement with their own faith traditions, while developing respect for difference.
Housing services
At Allegheny, we take the phrase “live and learn” to heart…and our four-year residency requirement supports that perspective. Living styles include all-male, all-female, and co-ed residence halls and apartments configured as suites, singles, doubles, triples, and quads.
Library services
The Library and Information Technology Services division supports the College’s mission of preparing young adults for successful and meaningful lives by providing students, faculty, and staff access to the information they need; maintaining a reliable technology infrastructure to facilitate the work of the College; and providing guidance in the effective use of those resources.
Medical services
Winslow Health Center provides high quality, accessible, cost effective, nonjudgmental, and confidential health care for Allegheny students. We embrace a culture of safety, courtesy, respect and dignity at each encounter with students.
Student Life
Campus life
The Henderson Campus Center exists to create space on campus for intellectual, social, and moral growth of students of Allegheny College through a variety of means. Additionally, the building serves as: a programming space for a variety of events, often housing multiple events simultaneously; an intersection for a multiple publics that include Allegheny student population, staff, faculty, administrators, alumni, parents of students, prospective students, the Meadville community, guests and outside performers; a gathering space for our community.
Sports facilities
Club sports are student-initiated programs, providing leadership opportunities in self-governance, marketing, fundraising, and other aspects of managing sport programs. In addition to organization and instruction, club members are responsible for working closely with their peers, the College and members of the community to manage their budget and make travel arrangements as well as schedule and publicize events. Various clubs are recreational in nature, while others foster competition; however, all club sports are encouraged to host events at the College throughout the academic year. Moreover, several clubs travel to events and competitions in the Meadville community and surrounding region.
