Student services
The Center for Student Success Programs and Services assists students and their families on an ongoing basis and in times of crisis – including but not limited to meeting academic, medical, financial, and social challenges, as well as providing assistance to assault survivors.
Because college is a time for comprehensive growth, we embrace a holistic philosophy and cultivate an accepting environment. Students who seek our assistance are taking a critical step to learn more about themselves and become successful and productive individuals able to handle challenges and embrace opportunities during their Emory experience and throughout life.
Housing services
Residence Life and Housing Operations maintains more than 20 residence halls. About three in four undergraduates, including all first- and second-year students, live in campus housing, fostering a sense of community and involvement in college life.
All residential students must participate in an Emory Dining meal plan. We offer several choices to accommodate a range of dietary needs and preferences. Students simply swipe or tap their university ID, the EmoryCard, to use plan benefits at dining facilities.
Library services
The Emory library system comprises the Robert W. Woodruff Library and several specialty libraries.The libraries make a wide range of remarkable assets available to the university community and the general public, including:
- Print and electronic volumes: More than 4 million
- Serial subscriptions: Nearly 100,000, with more than 97,000 of those via electronic access

- Emory is one of just a handful of schools in the nation to rank in the top in both the Directors' Cup of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics for best all-around athletics program and the U.S. News & World Report rankings of best national universities.
- Emory students distinguish themselves outside the classroom. Emory has now been awarded 109 postgraduate scholarships over the school's history.
- The Emory Eagles distinguish themselves in competition, with 23 NCAA Division III national championships and a host of strong seasonal finishes.

Accreditation
Emory University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master's, doctorate and professional degrees. In addition, these organizations accredit schools or programs within the university.
