Services
Student services
For the students coming to UTC from more than 55 countries, the Office of International Student and Scholar Services is here for you. We provide support for admissions processes, immigration issues, academic challenges and personal difficulties.
Housing services
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga considers requests for housing accommodations on an individual case-by-case basis for individuals with disabilities in campus housing. Reasonable housing accommodations may include single rooms, first-floor rooms or an elevator in close proximity, strobe alarm systems, and others, as determined by the Disability Resource Center in an interactive process with the student. If a request has been approved, the accommodation is communicated to Housing and Residence Life.
Library services
The UTC Library is well equipped to support the research and scholarship needs of the community with an operating budget of over 4.1 million dollars, a dynamic and engaged faculty and staff, a new library building that opened in January 2015, and a broad collection of diverse materials including 600,000 print and ebooks, over 30,000 digital journals available, 150+ indexes and databases, and more.
ICT services
The UTC Help Desk is an IT support team for students, faculty, staff and visiting guests. Our team answers questions and resolves some issues immediately. Issues that cannot be resolved immediately are escalated to the appropriate team. If you need to submit an IT request, the UTC Help Desk is the best place to start.
Medical services
The staff of University Health Services (SHS) seeks to give every student, faculty and staff member optimum healthcare. Services include visits for acute and chronic illnesses, physical exams, screenings, immunizations, lab services, TB skin testing and allergy shots.
