Student services
The Central Student Advising Service has the task of advising prospective students, enrolled students, and others interested in the University about the degree program contents, tasks, and requirements.
The Central Student Advising Service gives information, advises, and assists, e.g. with:
- Questions about admission and possibilities for studying (application)
- Orientation at the University, conditions and requirements for studying
- Problems with choosing a subject area
- Problems during the course of studies
- Questions about continuing studies
- Representation of student interests in the University’s committees
Housing services
Campus life in Köthen is very diverse. Three departments are located on this campus in the Bernburger Straße and the Lohmannstraße. For studies to be successful, the conditions must be right. Short distances to courses, shopping, clubs, and the world. In the university city of Köthen, you are sure to find suitable, affordable housing.
Library services
Anhalt University Library is a scientific, public library that provides literature and information to university members as well as interested citzen. In order To borrow media, we have to ask you to register and agree to our rules and regulations.
ICT services
Bernburg has several PC pools, not all of which have Internet access. The opening hours are announced at the beginning of a semester on the timetable. In addition to the lectures, the students are allowed to use the PC pools outside of the courses.

Sports facilities
Every student of Anhalt University has the opportunity to participate in the numerous sports offers at the university.
Different sports courses are offered at the different locations.
These include, for example, basketball, badminton, archery, boxing, football, karate, climbing, oriental dance, diving, horse riding, rowing, swimming, tennis, volleyball, yoga and many more.
