But it's not just about following your passion. It's also important to consider your strengths and weaknesses. What are you good at? What are you not so good at? Your career should play to your strengths, so it's important to be honest with yourself about what you're good at and what you're not. If you're not a numbers person, for example, then a career in accounting might not be the best fit for you.

Of course, it's not just about what you're interested in and what you're good at – it's also about the job market. What careers are in high demand right now? Which careers are likely to be in high demand in the future? Choosing a career that is in demand is important, as this will give you the best chance of finding a job after you graduate. You don't want to end up with a degree in medieval basket weaving only to realize that there are no jobs in that field (unless you're into that kind of thing, in which case, go for it).

Don't be afraid to reach out to people and ask for their advice – they've been in your shoes, and they can provide valuable guidance.

It's also important to consider your long-term goals. What do you want your life to look like? What about your day-to-day? How much do you want to earn? What key learnings do you want to focus on? How much time do you want to dedicate to your job? Do you want to work in a remote-friendly career?

Take a realistic approach. Choosing a career is a big decision, but it’s important to take a realistic approach. Don’t choose a career just because it seems glamorous or lucrative. Instead, choose a career that aligns with your interests, strengths, and goals and that is in demand in the job market.
