Program Overview

The Persuratan Melayu program offers a discipline in Malay literature, culture, and arts. In addition to outlining intellectual and personal skills that are in line with the demands of intellectual and personal development, this program is capable of producing graduates who are creative, innovative, have a high level of Malay resilience, and preserve Malay traditional values with a high level of professionalism.

Admission Requirements

• STPM, Matrikulasi, Asasi, STAM, Diploma

• APEL (A) Certificate from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) at Level 6 of the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)
• Minimum Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from semester 1, 2021, or Band 2 for examinations up to 2020, according to the validity period on the application date
• Passing the examination and/or interview set by the faculty

Faculty Information

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSK) is located at the main campus of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Bangi, Selangor, 35 km south of Kuala Lumpur. FSSK is a center of excellence that nurtures critical thinking and creativity necessary to produce a line of leaders.

Learning at FSSK is designed to foster open-minded thinking and active participation. FSSK has an impressive track record in the fields of teaching, research, publication, and the employability of its graduates.
