Program Overview

The Sarjana Muda Sains Seni Bina dengan Kepujian program is a semi-professional degree recognized by the Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) and equivalent to the Part I Examination for Professional Architectural Qualification.

Program Structure

The program consists of various courses, including:

• Studio design
• History
• Architectural theory
• Environmental science
• Building structures
• Building services
• Graphic communication
• Building technology and materials

The program is studio design-oriented, which is the core of the program.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• STPM, Matrikulasi, Asasi, STAM, or Diploma
• General university requirements
• Specific program requirements
• APEL (A) certification from the Agensi Kelayakan Malaysia (MQA) at level 6 of the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)
• A minimum score of Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from the 2021 session, or Band 2 for examinations up to 2020, according to the validity period on the application date
• Passing the examination and/or interview set by the faculty
