The Bachelor of Education with Honours in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) is a programme that aims to produce graduate teachers who are trained, dynamic, and competent to teach English as a Second Language and able to practice lifelong learning.

Entry Requirement

The general requirements for admission to this programme are:

1. Complete 12 years of Primary and High School education.
2. Obtain High School (e.g. Higher Secondary Certificate, Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate, Tawjihiyah, Ijazah Sekolah Menengah Atas, High School Diploma).
3. Meet minimum English requirement set by faculty.
4. Pass UKM interview (if required).
5. Meet faculty specific requirement.

• The General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level: CCC or 96 UCAS Tariff Points (A to D only)
• International Baccalaureate Diploma: 25 point overall. Score of 3 in two(2) Higher Level.
