Bachelor of Accounting with Honours

The Bachelor of Accounting program prepares students to face the fast-changing real world, technological development, and globalization. This program is recognized as the Report of the Public Higher Education Institution Accounting Program Steering Committee 2015/2016, which has been approved by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, according to the international standards of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). Recognized by professional bodies MICPA, CTIM, MAICSA, ACCA, and CIMA.


Introduction

The program aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the accounting profession.

    • Arts Stream: Obtained at least a CGPA of 2.75 at the STPM level, and obtained at least a Grade B- (NGMP 2.67) at the STPM level in Economics / Accounting / Business Studies / Mathematics M / Mathematics T, and any one other subject, and obtained at least a Grade D (Pass) at the SPM level in Mathematics / Additional Mathematics and English.
  • ASASI / MATRIC:
    • Science Stream: Obtained at least a CGPA of 2.75 at the Foundation / Matriculation level of the Ministry of Education, and obtained at least a Grade B- (NGMP of 2.67) at the Foundation / Matriculation level of the Ministry of Education in Mathematics, and any one of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and obtained at least a Grade D (Pass) at the SPM level in Mathematics / Additional Mathematics and English.
