Program Overview
Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation programme is designed to produce graduates from a variety of academic disciplines, enabling them to explore, create, and exploit new venture creation opportunities or reinvent current business ventures. This programme is based on the concept of the "Triple Helix," a combination of university expertise, industry/entrepreneurs, and national entrepreneurship supporting agencies, providing a platform for students to exchange ideas about the business environment, specifically involving entrepreneurship and innovation.
Introduction
This programme aims to equip students with advanced knowledge and understanding in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation, applying this knowledge to solve problems in new situations and cross-disciplinary contexts. The programme integrates and synthesizes entrepreneurship knowledge to develop and execute business plans, maintaining networking and demonstrating skills and capabilities to work effectively in completing tasks individually and in groups.
Learning Outcomes
The learning outcomes of this programme include:
- Showing advanced knowledge and understanding in the entrepreneurship and innovation field
- Applying entrepreneurship and innovation knowledge and understanding to solve problems in new situations and cross-disciplinary contexts
- Integrating and synthesizing entrepreneurship knowledge to develop and execute business plans and maintain networking
- Demonstrating skills and capability to work effectively in completing tasks individually and in groups
- Integrating theory and practices at an advanced level and in lifelong learning as preparation to face the business world

Bahasa Melayu Course
International postgraduate students are required to take a Bahasa Melayu course:
- LMCM1083: Bahasa Melayu Komunikasi Antarabangsa (for students from outside Nusantara)
- LMCM1093: Bahasa Melayu untuk Pelajar Nusantara (for students from Nusantara)
Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for this programme include:
- A bachelor's degree with a good CGPA from UKM or other institutions of higher learning recognized by the Senate of UKM
- Other qualifications equivalent to a bachelor's degree or recognized by the Senate of UKM
- Fulfilling other requirements stated by the programme or Faculty
- English language requirements for overseas candidates:
- MUET: B4.0
- IELTS/IELTS Online: 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: 60
- TOEFL Essentials (Online): 8.5
- Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic/PTE Academic Online): 59

Conditions for Conferment of Degree
To be conferred the degree, students must:
- Meet all requirements of UKM Regulations (Graduate Studies) 2021
- Attain a final minimum CGPA of 3.00
- Complete all credits required by the programme
- Fulfill the Bahasa Melayu requirement condition for international students as stated by the University
- Be recommended by the Postgraduate Examination Committee for Senate approval
- Return all assets owned by the University
- Pay off all debts and payments stated by the University
