Introduction

The Master of Public Health Science (Hospital Management and Health Economics) is a postgraduate program that aims to increase the standard of physical, mental, and social health at individual, family, and society levels. Community health practice emphasizes the management of resources and facilities to achieve an optimum standard of physical, mental, and social health by the population.

Program Learning Outcomes

1. Graduates are capable of applying knowledge and understanding of information, facts, principles, concepts, and theories systematically in the field of public health, particularly in the field of hospital management and health economics.

Entry Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in the field of basic, pure, applied, or professional science from the National University of Malaysia or from another university recognized by the Senate.
• Candidates with a Master's Degree in another field will be considered for admission to this program if they have work experience in a relevant field of specialization and obtained a CGPA of 3.00.
• Additional English language requirements for international students: IELTS 6.5, MUET 4.0, or TOEFL (IBT) 60-93 or TOEFL (PBT) 498-583.

Additional Requirements for International Students

International students must have proof of financial aid for the duration of their studies and have medical coverage and health insurance.
