Professional Certificate in Embalming

Type of Study

The Professional Certificate in Embalming is a coursework program.

Duration of Studies

The program is offered full-time and takes 3 months to complete.

Intake

The program is offered once a year, with a minimum of 10 students required.

General Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

1. Malaysian Certificate of Education (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) and 5 years of experience in the field of Cadaver Management and Preservation
2. Diploma and 2 years of experience in the field of Cadaver Management and Preservation
3. Bachelor's Degree in the field of Science

The Faculty of Medicine UKM was established in 1974 and commenced with 44 students for the 1973/74 admissions session.
