University Programs

The university offers several programs, including Sarjana Sains Kesihatan, Sarjana Sains Bioperubatan, Sarjana Pemakanan Klinikal, and Sarjana Psikologi Klinikal.

Sarjana Sains Kesihatan

• The program is designed to provide students with specialized training in biomedical sciences, such as chemical pathology, infectious diseases, and natural product toxicology.
• Students will gain valuable research and laboratory experience in their chosen field of study.
• Admission requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 from a recognized institution.
  • Other equivalent qualifications or experience recognized by the Senate.
• English language requirements:
  • IELTS 5.5
  • TOEFL iBT 46
  • TOEFL Essentials 89
  • Other English language competencies approved by the Senate based on CEFR.
• Curriculum:
  • Total credits: 45 units
  • Accreditation: Malaysian Qualification Framework (MQF) Level 7, Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA)
• Course structure:
  • Semester 1: Laboratory techniques in biomedical science, laboratory techniques in cell and molecular biology, laboratory management, research methods and biostatistics.
  • Semester 2: Elective modules (choose one), research project in biomedical science.
  • Semester 3: Research and thesis writing, research project in biomedical science.

Sarjana Sains Bioperubatan

• The program is designed to provide students with advanced training in biomedical sciences.
• Admission requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 from a recognized institution.
  • Other equivalent qualifications or experience recognized by the Senate.
• English language requirements:
  • IELTS 5.5
  • TOEFL iBT 46
  • TOEFL Essentials 89
  • Other English language competencies approved by the Senate based on CEFR.
• Curriculum:
  • Total credits: 45 units
  • Accreditation: Malaysian Qualification Framework (MQF) Level 7, Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA), Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), UK
• Course structure:
  • Semester 1: Laboratory techniques in biomedical science, laboratory techniques in cell and molecular biology, laboratory management, research methods and biostatistics.

Sarjana Pemakanan Klinikal

• The program is designed to provide students with advanced training in clinical nutrition.
• Admission requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 from a recognized institution.
  • Other equivalent qualifications or experience recognized by the Senate.
• English language requirements:
  • IELTS 5.5
  • TOEFL iBT 46
  • TOEFL Essentials 89
  • Other English language competencies approved by the Senate based on CEFR.
• Curriculum:

  • Accreditation: Malaysian Qualification Framework (MQF) Level 7, Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA)

Sarjana Psikologi Klinikal

• The program is designed to provide students with advanced training in clinical psychology.
• Admission requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 from a recognized institution.
  • Other equivalent qualifications or experience recognized by the Senate.
• English language requirements:
  • IELTS 5.5

• Course structure:
  • Semester 1: Research methodology and statistics, ethics and professional practice in clinical psychology, psychological testing and assessment, clinical psychology of children and adolescents, clinical psychology of adults, psychotherapy.
  • Semester 2: Psychopharmacology in clinical practice, neuropsychology, health psychology and mental health, psychotherapy, clinical placement.
  • Semester 3: Research project in clinical psychology, clinical placement.
  • Semester 4: Research project in clinical psychology, clinical placement.

Sarjana Sains Kesihatan (Pemakanan Kesihatan Awam)

• The program is designed to provide students with advanced training in public health nutrition.
• Admission requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 from a recognized institution.
  • Other equivalent qualifications or experience recognized by the Senate.
• English language requirements:
  • IELTS 5.5
  • TOEFL iBT 46
  • TOEFL Essentials 89
  • Other English language competencies approved by the Senate based on CEFR.
