Bachelor of Nursing (Hons)
The Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in nursing, covering various aspects of human anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry.
Year 1, Semester 1
FFFJ1314 - Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry I
This course is delivered through an integrated approach, focusing on the following human body systems:
- Cells and Tissues: organization, structure, and normal function
- Cardiovascular System: anatomical structure, physiological role, and function
- Respiratory System: anatomical structure, role, and physiological function
- Musculoskeletal System: anatomical structure and physiological function, focusing on the regulation of various types of muscles
Year 1, Semester 2
FFFJ1324 - Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry II
This course focuses on the following systems:
- Gastrointestinal (GIT): physiological function, regulation of the entire GIT system
- Endocrine: physiological function, general function of the endocrine system, and the role of hormones in various stages of development
- Urinary: anatomical structure, role, and physiological as well as biochemical functions
Year 2, Semester 1
FFFJ2114 - Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry III
This course provides students with the study of the macroscopic and microscopic structure and function of the nervous system, special senses, and reproductive system. The biochemistry principles related to the nervous and reproductive systems are also studied, serving as a foundation for understanding diseases related to disorders of the reproductive system, nervous system, and special senses.

The Anatomy Department is located at the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Malaysia (UKM), Kuala Lumpur Campus.
Operation Hours
The department operates from:
- Monday to Thursday: 8.00 am 5.00 pm
- Friday: 8.00 am 12.15 pm, 2.45 pm 5.00 pm
