Introduction to the Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies (Hons.)
The Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with Honours (SmSn Citra) programme is designed to address the needs of the modern work market, particularly in light of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (4IR). This programme is a Future-Focused Curriculum that allows students to build and create their own areas of concentration in accordance with their personal and career goals.
Uniqueness of the Citra SmSn Program
The SmSn Citra program is the first of its kind in Malaysia, offering a flexible and interdisciplinary study structure. The programme features a Juke Box Education Approach, which is inclusive, cross-disciplinary, and cross-faculty, spanning campus and country. The 2u2i and 3u1i methods allow students to spend 2 or 3 years in university and 2 or 1 year in industry-based learning, increasing their marketability.

Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM): Passed with honors in the Malay/Malaysian language subject or honors in the Malay/Malaysian Language July paper and passed in the History subject
- APEL MQA certificate: Obtained MQF Level 6
- Malaysian Higher Certificate of Education (STPM): Passed with at least CGPA 2.50 at STPM/KPM Matriculation/Foundation level and got at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) at the level STPM/KPM Matriculation/Foundation in any two (2) other subjects
- Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM): Passed with at least Jayyid Rank
- Diploma: Passed a relevant Diploma from an Educational Institution recognized by the University and Government of Malaysia and obtained at least a CGPA of 2.50
- Test / Interview: Passed the test and/or Interview set by the Pusat Pengajian Citra Universiti (School of Liberal Studies)
Duration and Study Fee
The programme is offered in FULL TIME MODE, with a minimum duration of 4 years (8 semesters).
