Healthcare Leadership Management Programme
The Healthcare Leadership Management Programme is a collaborative effort between Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM (HCTM) and Singapore Health Services (SingHealth). The program aims to empower healthcare professionals to improve healthcare services and build a sustainable healthcare system across the community in the region.
Programme Overview
The programme was first launched in 2020 at the Auditorium UMBI, with 71 participants. Over three years, the program has successfully reached 260 participants, with around 20 projects presented. The programme covers various topics, including:
- Leadership in Healthcare
- Healthcare Financing
- Risk Management
- Human Resource Management
- Communication
- Population Health
- Healthcare Strategy and Delivery of Patient Value
- Pandemic Management at the system level
- Diabetes Mellitus – Prevention and Management
- Clinical Quality and Patient Safety
Programme Participants
The programme is designed for management and professional groups from the university hospital cluster (KHUAM – Consortium of Malaysian Public University Hospitals). The collaboration between HCTM and SingHealth provides a platform for sharing expertise and building a network of empowered healthcare practitioners.
Programme Partners
The programme is a result of the partnership between HCTM and SingHealth, with SingHealth providing training modules and HCTM leading the programme's organization. The programme is funded by Temasek Foundation International.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged between UKM and SingHealth, represented by YBhg. Prof. Dato' Dr. Hanafiah Harunarashid and YBhg. Prof. Fong Kok Yong, respectively. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by YBhg. Prof. Dato' Dr. Razman Jarmin, Director of HCTM, and other dignitaries.
