East Asian Civilizations to 1850

Course Description

The course ASIAN 160L, also known as East Asian Civilizations to 1850, is an introduction to the traditional civilizations of China, Japan, and to a lesser extent Korea, from the earliest times to the arrival of the modern industrial West in the mid-nineteenth century.
