Program Overview

The postdoctoral fellowship program is designed for individuals committed to a career in cancer prevention research.


Program Benefits

The program offers full fellowships, which include:


  • Two years of support
  • NRSA level stipend, starting at $61,008
  • Health insurance
  • $2,000 travel expenses for presentations at scientific meetings
  • Tuition and fees
  • Books, software, and laptop/tablet
    • Additional research expenses should be paid by mentor
  • Training and coaching in innovative thinking
  • Editing and training in compelling oral presentations
  • Trans-disciplinary research seminars and cross-disciplinary training

Affiliate Fellowships

Affiliate fellowships are available for postdocs with salary/stipend support from employment or other cancer fellowships. These fellowships include all benefits listed above, except stipend support and health insurance.


Eligibility

Individuals who were the first in their family to attend college, have faced financial hardship, or were underserved are highly encouraged to apply.


Application Deadline

Applications are due by October 10, 2024.

Information sessions are scheduled for:


  • Wednesday, September 11 at 2 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 19 at 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 26 at 12 p.m.
  • Monday, September 30 at 8 a.m.
