Bachelor of Science in Nursing

The BSN degree from Cizik School of Nursing is valued by employers, with a 95% job placement rate and a 96% first-time NCLEX pass rate. The school offers two pathways to the BSN degree:


  • Pacesetter Accelerated BSN: a 15-month accelerated entry-to-practice BSN option
  • RN to BSN: a flexible, hybrid pathway designed for registered nurses who want to advance from an associate to a bachelor's degree

Accreditation

The baccalaureate degree in nursing, master's degree in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and post-graduate APRN certificate programs at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The baccalaureate program is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing.


Tuition and Financial Aid

Cizik School of Nursing offers low tuition for its highly ranked Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The UTHealth Houston Future Nurses Fund provides supplemental financial aid to make tuition and required fees free to full-time BSN students who earn less than $100,000 annually in gross adjusted income.
