BSN Program

The BSN program is designed for students who want to pursue a career in nursing. The program is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing.


BSN Program Overview

The BSN program prepares students for a wide variety of career pathways. BSN-prepared graduates are in demand in today's job market.


RN to BSN

The RN to BSN pathway is an ideal way to expand career opportunities. The program is designed for working nurses and can be completed in two, three, or five semesters.


RN to BSN at a Glance

  • Admit Terms: Fall
  • Average Completion: Two, three, or five semesters
  • Credit Requirements: 31 credit hours
  • Educational Mode: 100% online lectures and an in-person community clinical
  • Enrollment Level: Part-time or full-time enrollment
  • Estimated Tuition: Among the lowest in Texas
  • Prerequisites: 60 hours with at least 40 hours, including 16 hours of science courses, completed by the application deadline

Flexible Enrollment Options

The RN to BSN pathway offers three enrollment options:


  • Fast-track (2 semesters)
  • Traditional (3 semesters)
  • Flexible (up to 5 semesters)

Hands-on Training

Clinical experience begins during the first semester as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing student. Students also participate in clinical experience labs and simulations during the BSN program.


MSN Program

The MSN program is designed for students who want to pursue advanced nursing education.

DNP Program
