BSN Program
The BSN program has two exciting opportunities that lead to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree: the Pacesetter BSN and the RN to BSN programs.
- Pacesetter BSN graduates are prepared to take the licensure examination (NCLEX) for registered nurses.
- Graduates of the RN to BSN program gain a higher level of nursing knowledge in evidence-based practice, critical thinking, leadership, and nursing expertise.
Upon successful completion of the baccalaureate program in nursing, graduates should be able to:
- Knowledge and Scholarship: Use evidence-based practice in the delivery of nursing care through application of theories, models, and nursing scholarship to improve health and transform health care.
- Health Care Delivery: Provide person-centered nursing care using a systematic approach to meet health care needs for individuals, families, populations, and communities in diverse settings with coordination of resources across the healthcare delivery continuum.
- Quality, Safety, and Technology: Apply quality and safety science and health care technology to manage and improve the delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient health care services.
