Application Process

A Ph.D. from a CAMPEP-accredited graduate program is highly preferred for this position. Furthermore, preference will be given to candidates who have successfully completed Part 1 of the ABR examination. Candidates with a Master from a CAMPEP-accredited graduate program, or with a Ph.D. in a related field and a certificate of didactic education from a CAMPEP-accredited certificate program are also encouraged to apply. In exceptional cases, remedial coursework may be obtained during the residency from a CAMPEP-approved UTHealth medical physics graduate program (up to 2 courses).

Applicants should apply through National Matching Services, a website for uploading all required materials. The residency program and applicants participate in the MedPhys Match administered by National Matching Services.


Timeline for Medical Physics Residency

Residency starts on July 1st, and the resident is expected to complete the entire program subsequently with no interruptions.


Interview Information

All interviews are being held virtually until further notice. Voluntary on-site visit is offered after the interview.
