Family Nurse Practitioner Program
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track offers students the opportunity to advance their careers in primary care, caring for patients from pediatrics through geriatrics. Graduates of the program will be prepared to sit for national certification by the American Nurse's Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Certification Board.
Licensure Requirements
- An active, valid & unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) which the student participates in clinical learning experiences.
Degree Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited college or university.
GPA Requirements
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 & a minimum GPA of 3.0 for all upper division courses.

- Three professional letters of references, one of which must be from the current clinical manager or other authority speaking on the applicant's commitment to discovery of new knowledge, current knowledge in a clinical area, and dedication to the profession.

- A minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as a registered nurse (RN).
