Master of Science in Respiratory Therapy

The Master of Science in Respiratory Therapy program is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in clinical practice, education, and research. The program offers two distinct tracks: Entry-Level and BS/BA RRT to MSRT Degree Advancement.

Program Tracks

• Entry-Level Program: This program requires no prior healthcare experience and is held on-campus. The completion rate for this program is two years, allowing graduates to quickly start their career in respiratory therapy.
• Degree Advancement Program: Designed for practicing registered respiratory therapists, this program is 100% online. After completing 20 graduate credit hours of respiratory therapy courses, students can choose from three different leadership tracks:
  • Operational
  • Education
  • Research This 2-3 year online program enables practitioners to continue providing healthcare to their patients while earning an advanced degree.
