Cytopathology Fellowship

Program Description
The program includes training in:
- Gynecologic cytology, with a focus on liquid-based, thin-layer slide preparations and conventional smears
- Nongynecologic cytology, with a focus on fluids, urines, and bronchial-pulmonary specimens
- Fine needle aspirations, including superficial sites and image-guided and endoscopic ultrasonographically-guided FNA's
- Routine cytopreparatory methods and ancillary techniques, such as microbiologic cultures, reflex HPV-testing, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and molecular pathology
