Program Overview

The Environment Design program aims to cultivate high-quality talents with international vision, innovative thinking, and practical abilities. Students will master theoretical knowledge and professional skills in the field of environment design, and be able to use bilingual (Chinese and English) communication and cooperation to work in various design, research, and management fields, including interior and exterior space design, landscape design, and exhibition design.

Program Objectives

The program aims to foster high-quality talents with systematic knowledge of fashion interior design, broad cultural and social science knowledge, and familiarity with international and domestic business norms in fashion environment design. Students will be equipped with internationalized fashion interior design concepts and be able to work in the fashion creative industry, both domestically and internationally, in fields such as interior design, visual marketing, display design, space planning, and intelligent environment design.

Program Requirements

Students are required to master basic design theories, receive basic training in fashion interior design, and understand international fashion interior design project management processes and methods. They should also be familiar with new trends in international and domestic fashion brand commercial space design.

Program Curriculum

Through solid learning of fashion culture, interior design, and exhibition design skills, students will be able to analyze and recognize fashion business spaces with innovative thinking, and possess high fashion aesthetic cultivation and comprehensive design abilities. Additionally, students will be proficient in using artificial intelligence technology to optimize design processes, improve design efficiency, and enhance innovation.

Language Proficiency

Students will be proficient in using English for daily and professional communication, becoming leaders in environment design with technical application abilities, innovative thinking, and international vision.

Admission Criteria

• Chinese students must participate in the national unified college entrance examination, and details can be found in the Donghua University art major undergraduate enrollment brochure for that year.
• International students should refer to the SCF international student admission brochure.
