Introduction to the Program

The Donghua University Continuing Education College offers a comprehensive program in fashion design, leveraging the university's expertise in textile and fashion disciplines. The program, "Fashion Style Design Further Study Class," aims to cultivate practical talents who can adapt to the development of China's fashion industry.

Course Overview

The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of fashion design, development, production, and release. Through various artistic expression methods, students will learn to convey their creative ideas and gain a basic understanding of the elements involved in the fashion industry. The program covers the production process and operation of the fashion industry, enabling students to thoroughly understand the principles of design and apply them to product development.

Teaching Conditions

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee is 10,800 yuan for a 6-week full-time program or 10,800 yuan for a 10-week part-time program, excluding book and material costs.

Class Schedule and Location

Classes are held from 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 17:00 at the Donghua University Center Building, 5th floor, Donghua University Continuing Education College Training Center.

Assessment and Graduation

Students who complete the program and pass all assessments will receive a non-academic certificate from Donghua University.

Course Structure

The program includes the following modules:

• Fashion Aesthetics Foundation: Explores the relationship between fashion and aesthetics, covering the origins and development of fashion and aesthetics, the aesthetic value of fashion materials, and the artistic style of fashion creation.
• Fashion Professional Knowledge: Discusses the development of fashion in different historical periods, analyzing the traditional cultural connotations and fashion elements in contemporary fashion styles.
• Fashion Effect Drawing Techniques: Teaches students to express their creative ideas through hand-drawing and computer techniques, enhancing their ability to convey fashion design ideas.
• Fashion Design Methods: Applies the knowledge and skills learned to design practice, covering the entire process of fashion design, from inspiration to series design, and from sketchbook production to fashion design methods.

Accommodation and Food

Students are responsible for their own accommodation and food expenses, but can dine at the school cafeteria at their own cost.
