What You Will Study

The course consists of core foundation knowledge, captured as VET08C credit, and completion of a major area of study or eight restricted electives. Students receive VET08C Entry Level Vocational Credit (64 points) on admission for completion of prior qualifications and work experience.

  • Credit Package (64 pts): Students receive credit for prior qualifications and work experience.
  • Essential Set (128 pts): Includes Adult and Vocational Teaching or Adult Language, Literacy, and Numeracy foundation subjects, and professional extension subjects.
  • Without Major Area of Study (64 pts): Students complete a set of compulsory subjects and restricted electives.
  • With Major Area of Study (64 pts): Students can choose from majors like Language, Literacy, and Numeracy, Training Systems and Human Resource Management, or Vocational Education and Training.
