Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership

The Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership is a postgraduate program offered online or on-campus in Bathurst. The program can be completed in 0.5 years full-time or 1.0 year part-time.

Admission Criteria

For entry to the Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership, applicants are required to have:

• Relevant professional attainment or work experience
• An undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent)
• And/or enrolment in or completion of relevant Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership Australia (IECL) subjects Applicants may also be considered on the basis of relevant professional attainment and/or work experience alone.

Program Structure

The course consists of four subjects, with two subjects granted as credit on the basis of completion of IECL subjects. The core subjects are:

• XXX51C Level 5 Unspecified Credit (credit only; based on completion of IECL Organisational Coaching Theory to Practice 1 subject)
• XXX51C Level 5 Unspecified Credit (credit only; based on completion of IECL Organisational Coaching Theory to Practice 2 subject) In addition to the core subjects, students must complete two CSU Restricted Electives from the following options:
  • MGT559 Contemporary Issues in Leadership
  • MGT568 Difference and Leadership
  • MGT569 The Leadership Challenge
  • MGT584 Leadership in Teams
  • MGT599 Leadership Theory and Practice (16 points)
  • Note: MGT599 is a double subject studied in one session, and students who complete this subject are not required to complete a second Restricted Elective.

Graduation Requirements

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 32 points. Conditions apply for IECL subjects completed pre-2015. A standard credit package applies, and students must complete approved IECL subjects for credit into the Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching.
