Graduate Certificate in Animal Science

The Graduate Certificate in Animal Science is an exit point only program that includes the following awards: Graduate Certificate in Animal Science.

Availability

The program is available on campus at Wagga Wagga and online. However, availability is subject to change, and it is recommended to verify prior to enrolment.

Normal Course Duration

The normal course duration for the Graduate Certificate in Animal Science is:

• Full-time: 0.5 years (1.0 sessions)
• Part-time: 1.0 years (2.0 sessions)

Admission Criteria

For admission to the program, a candidate shall:

• Hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification with a major in a relevant discipline
• Hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Diploma qualification in a relevant discipline Relevant disciplines include, but are not restricted to:
  • General Science
  • Animal or Veterinary Sciences
  • Agricultural Science
  • Biomedical Science

Credit

No credit will be granted for undergraduate subjects.

Articulation

The Master, Graduate Diploma, and Graduate Certificate make up an articulated set of courses, and credit is given in each higher level course for the subjects completed in the lower level.

Graduation Requirement

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.
