Program Overview

Graduate Diploma of Ethics and Legal Studies

The Graduate Diploma of Ethics and Legal Studies is a postgraduate program that includes the following awards: Graduate Diploma of Ethics and Legal Studies. The program is available online, with availability subject to change.

Admission Criteria

Admission to the program is based on the CSU Admission Policy, which requires a Bachelor degree or a minimum of a TAFE Diploma/Certificates and/or work history that demonstrates holding a senior position, demonstrating relevant work experience.

Course Structure

The program consists of core subjects, compulsory subjects, and restricted electives. The core subjects are:

Graduation Requirement

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 64 points.

Normal Course Duration

The normal course duration is 1.0 year (2.0 sessions) for full-time study and 2.0 years (4.0 sessions) for part-time study. The actual length of study may vary, and students are advised to consult the Enrolment Pattern for more information.

Enrolment Pattern

Due to the flexibility of the course requirements, there is no prescribed enrolment pattern. Students may choose the order in which they undertake subjects, depending on the availability of subjects and the meeting of any prerequisites.

Articulation

The Graduate Diploma makes up an articulated set of courses, and credit is given in each higher-level course for the subjects completed in the lower-level course.

Credit

No special arrangements apply for credit in the Graduate Diploma of Ethics and Legal Studies.
