Master of Leadership and Management (Policing and Security)
The Master of Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) develops students' high-level professional practice by examining challenges in contemporary executive leadership in national and international policing and related regulatory professions, in the context of its theoretical, conceptual, and empirical foundations. Successfully completing this course will prepare graduates to contribute to theory and research as well as to professional practice. Through the completion of this course, students will also develop broader graduate attributes articulated by the university so that they can contribute more fully to the community and their profession.

Admission Criteria
Candidates for admission to the Master of Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) degree shall:
- Either hold a Bachelor degree in a related area, or have qualified for an equivalent award;
- Or have completed the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management (Policing and Security) or subjects deemed equivalent by the Course Coordinator. Additionally, a number of police jurisdictions have credit arrangements with awards in AGSPS, and prospective applicants should discuss these with the Course Coordinator.
Credit
No special arrangements apply, as per the university's credit policy.
Articulation
The Master, Graduate Diploma, and Graduate Certificate make up an articulated set of courses, and credit is given in each higher-level course for the subjects completed in the lower.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 96 points.

- EMG505 Work-Based Project (16 points) Students will be able to select as electives any subject offered by the AGSPS.
