Introduction to the Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership
The Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership is a jointly offered program by Charles Sturt University and the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership. This course combines academic study with industry-accredited coaching training to provide knowledge and skills in coaching and leading high-performing, dynamic organisations.
Program Overview
The course is structured to help graduates develop reflective judgement, problem-solving, ethical decision-making, and effective communication skills. The IECL component of the course forms part of the Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) and provides a pathway to ACTP certification and International Coach Federation (ICF) credentialing.

- Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience.
Credit and Articulation

- Students must complete approved IECL subjects for credit into the GradCertOrgCoachLship and GradDipOrgCoachLship
- Articulation:
- The Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate make up an articulated set of courses
- Credit is given in each higher level course for the subjects completed in the lower
Graduation Requirements
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.
Course Structure
The course consists of four (4) subjects, two of which are granted as credit on the basis of completed subjects at the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership Australia (IECL).
