Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education

The Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education offers a formal qualification in learning and teaching in higher education that provides opportunities to strengthen learning and teaching theory and practice. The course engages learners with a broad view of learning and teaching, as well as developments in their discipline and professional practice communities. Graduates strengthen their capacity to engage in, and contribute to, debates and improvements in their institutions and to national and international scholarly discussion.

• Availability: Subject to change, please verify prior to enrolment
• Duration:
  • Full-time: 0.5 years (1.0 sessions)
  • Part-time: 1.0 years (2.0 sessions)
• Admission: Restricted to staff of Charles Sturt University
• Credit:
  • Applicants who complete Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the ADPP Facilitator Program will be eligible for proficiency credit for one subject in the standard GCLTHE course
  • Students who have already completed FULT will receive credit for EEL416
  • Applicants with previous higher education teaching experience may seek proficiency credit for EEL409
• Graduation: To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 32 points
