VFX105 3D Modelling and Rendering
This subject is designed to give students a fundamental working knowledge and understanding of 3D modelling and rendering in digital media. This will allow the student to create simple and complex 3D rendered models which adhere to industry standard expectations.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- be able to apply fundamental theories of 3D computation, modelling and rendering to creative practice;
- be able to apply a range of 3D modelling and rendering techniques in response to a range of creative briefs;
- be able to demonstrate the practice of producing 3D images to industry standards;
- be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the software and hardware employed by industry to create 3D models and renders; and
- be able to critically reflect on the creative potential of 3D modelling and rendering.
