Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

• demonstrate familiarity with a range of web evaluation methods
• be able to facilitate access, information retrieval and information delivery on the web
• be able to evaluate different aspects of web interface design
• be able to select web features that will increase website usability in terms of user-friendliness, effective information retrieval and effective information delivery

• User needs analysis within an organisational context
• Relationship between web information usability, web design and development
