Program Overview


EHR117 The Exercise Science Professional

The subject adopts the theoretical framework of practice-based education. Students will actively engage in a professional placement with a healthy population group for a minimum of eighty (80) hours. This experience aims to assist students to be socialised into the exercise science professional community by adopting ethical practice, and applying their discipline, practical, interpersonal and reflective knowledge in authentic, real-world professional contexts. The subject provides opportunities for students to evaluate their suitability for employment in the exercise science and related fields of the profession.
