Introduction to the MAC Program
The MAC program is UNCG's General Education Program, designed to build foundational skills and knowledge that students need to succeed in college and beyond.
About MAC
MAC focuses on the development of 11 foundational competencies for success in college and life. To complete MAC, students must take one course in each competency, which is equivalent to 33-34 credits.
