Anesthesiology Residency
Program Overview
Introduction to the Anesthesiology Residency Program
The mission of the Anesthesiology Residency Program is to train and graduate excellent clinicians with a strong skill set in all key areas of perioperative medicine. UMass Memorial Medical Center is a Level 1 trauma center, equipped with a helipad, a liver transplant center, and has a nationally renowned center for complex aortic disease.
Program Overview
Our Memorial campus supports a busy high-risk obstetric service that is backed up by the region's only Level III NICU. This provides a robust clinical experience that dovetails with an educational framework constructed for the successful planning and execution of scholarly work to ensure trainees have the skills to become effective educators in any practice location.
